Are those birds that keep flying above the ground in Bangalore crows, hawks, or just vultures hovering above the fading careers of the Indian middle order?

I'm neither Karnatakan nor an ornithologist, but I'll take a crack at this anyway. Definitely members of the family Accipitridae, but whether they were kites, or hawks, or vultures wasn't immmediately clear. I remember kites being very plentiful during my school days - invariably attracted by our lunchboxes! My suspicion is that there might have been something edible of interest just outside the stadium (or as you surmise, inside it).
