To any and all new visitors to Outside the Line, welcome, and thanks for dropping by. Take a little gander through the site. See something you like? Pass it on, link it through, pay it forward, whatever.

FYI: Outside the Line has now been around on/off for a little more than a year, beginning with an ill-fated attempt at gonzo blogging the entire 2007 World Cup in the West Indies. We almost didn't make it.

But the IPL, much like a Tabasco-dipped finger up the pooper, has come along to perk us right up and to re-invigorated the entire scene. Like the league, the site is still experiencing some growing pains, so during the next few days you might see some layout and formatting changes here and there. Some will work, some won't, but the basic aim behind the whole thing will stay the same: effing the ineffable in the cricket world. Enjoy.
