When did Damien Fleming become Richie Benaud? Was I asleep, or stoned by the beach during the announcement? I've been hearing Fleming's nasal country twang a disproportionate amount of time during World Cup coverage. Just in the last couple of days, he's opened the commentary, done pre-game pitch reports, after-play interviews... how much do we really need to know about medium-pace swing bowling?
